Posted December 16, 2018 10:47:37The iPhone Xs Max is finally here, and we’re excited to take a look at its spec sheet and get a taste of what the phone will look like in action.
We also get a glimpse at the device’s display, which we’ll be reviewing later this week.
First, though, we’re not really sure if the iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone 8 will be available in the U.S. this holiday season.
AppleInsider reports that both phones will not arrive in stores, and both the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6 will not be available to purchase until the end of January.
This is because AppleInsiders says that the company is making significant investments in the United States, specifically in “high-demand markets” that require a high-end device for those customers.
According to AppleInsulator, the company has made a significant investment in the States in order to bring a high end product to the consumer.
This includes:iPhone Xs, iPhone X, iPhone 8, and iPhone X Plus.
It also includes a new iPhone X (with a 6.5-inch display), the iPhone 9 and iPhone 9 Plus, and a new iPad Pro.
The iPhone 8 has a display resolution of 1080p, but AppleInsulators says that Apple is still working on making sure that the iPhone’s display has “high enough resolution” for the average smartphone user.
The company is aiming for a 1,920 x 1,080 resolution for the iPhone, but if you want a 1080p display, you’ll need a 3,840 x 2,160 display, according to the report.
AppleInsider notes that Apple has also invested in a new display processor, dubbed “M4.”
This processor, it says, will be capable of “up to 30% faster display performance than existing mobile processors.”
It will be used in both the 8 Plus (up to a display size of 10.7 inches) and the iPhone.
The Apple Store has confirmed that the 8 will launch in the US in the first quarter of 2019.
Apple’s press release says that it is “working on the release of the next generation iPhone X.”
The new device will feature a 10.5 inches display, a quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor, and 16GB of RAM.
