Napoli is to buy Juventus in a deal worth about €1.4 billion, the Nerazzurri are set to buy Lyon and Inter Milan in the process, according to the Corriere dello Sport.
The Nerazzuare will also receive a number of other football clubs in the deal.
The sale of Napoli and Inter will have an impact on the rest of the Serie A, as the two sides play each other in Serie A’s last four.
Inter Milan, meanwhile, will lose one of their three most important players, Gianluigi Donnarumma, as well as former Napoli manager Roberto Mancini, while Juventus will lose Antonio Conte.
The new ownership will replace the previous ownership of Giampiero Ventura, who sold Napoli in January, leaving only one player in charge.
Inter, meanwhile will be left in a difficult situation, having lost two of their players, Carlos Bacca and Daniele De Rossi, while they also lost their first-choice keeper, Gianluca Lapadula.
They have also lost the likes of Antonio Candreva and Luca Antonelli, and were left without a first-team squad for the Champions League last 16 tie against Lyon.
Napoli, meanwhile have lost Lazio’s Paulo Dybala, who has been injured since January, and Andrea Pirlo, who signed a new contract in March.
Inter will also lose Dani Parejo and Alessandro Matri, while Lyon have lost Marcelo Bielsa and Alexandre Lacazette.
Inter have been without an injury concern for some time, with only Fabio Quagliarella and Mauro Icardi able to return from international duty, with the latter returning for Italy’s Copa America.
Napolo’s next game is on the 19th of October at Bologna, when they will face Sampdoria in the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final.
